An electrical distribution panel (also known as a breaker panel, distribution board, panelboard, or DB box) is the centralized component of an electrical power supply system. It acts as the primary hub that divides an incoming main electrical power feed into multiple secondary or subsidiary circuits, while providing a protective circuit breaker or fuse for each circuit in a common enclosure.
